Chinese names, listing order

I'm in need of help from a librarian experienced with how Chinese surnames should be listed on GR. I've found two author pages which list the first and last name of the same author in different order.

As far as I've been able to investigate, Wu is the surname, and Cuncun is the given name. But on all books visible on the profiles, the name is printed as Wu Cuncun.

Is it correctly understood of me that 'Wu Cuncun' is the profile name to keep on Goodreads, due to that's how it's printed on the books? Or do the more general rule apply, that names should be listed with given name followed by surname?

I don't think it really matters, as long as the 'sort by' and 'display name' shelves are filled in correctly (i.e. sorted on last name).

Well, if you think it's optional how to list the name, I'll follow the rule that listing the anglo name Catherine Anderson as 'Anderson Catherine' would be wrong. So Cuncun Wu it is.

Ha, I actually meant that if all covers show Wu Cuncun*, I would leave it at that but make sure that the sort and display fields are correct :D

*Are they English-language covers? Then I would certainly leave it like that.
