Clover, Volume 2 by Clamp Clover, Volume 2

Clover is primarily about a young girl called Sū (スウ?). In the futuristic world that she inhabits, the military conducted a search for gifted children nicknamed "Clovers", who seemingly have the magical ability to manipulate technology. Demonstrations of their powers include teleportation and summoning weapons from thin air.

Classified according to how powerful they are, the children were then tattooed with a symbol of the Clover Project, with the number of leaves on the Clover indicating their power. To date, Sū is the only "4-leaf Clover" discovered. Along with other "Clovers", Sū was imprisoned to prevent her contact with other humans, as the government feared that she might develop feelings and be used as a weapon to jeopardize the country's national security.

Being isolated from the rest of mankind, Sū craves for company, and as for her only wish, she asks to visit "Fairy Park." Her escort is Kazuhiko, an ex-military soldier who has been forced to undertake the task.

yeah, it probably doesn't help that it's not in chronological order.

yeah...

yeah, i thought it was brilliant. i loved the series. if they would have done it in chronological order, i don't think it would have been as good.

brilliantly worded. haha, but it's never been truer.

it's okay. i don't get that, just that look. i can't tell a story to save my life. so they always end like there should be more, and there isn't.

Starbubbles | 649 comments Mod
yes, i'm the same way. even when the story is finished, it seems to hang there.

yes, i have that issue too. that's why outlines work so well for me. at the very least, i get to write down the points i was trying to make.

it's a lot easier for me to reorganize in outline form since it's less to read. quite honestly, i didn't really use outlines till college. now, i can't write much with any sort of length without one.

message 12: by Starbubbles, event coordinator type person (new)

Starbubbles | 649 comments Mod
well, it really depends on what you are writing, and the prompt. no sense in writing an outline for a 200 word paper.

message 13: by Starbubbles, event coordinator type person (new)

Starbubbles | 649 comments Mod
yep, exactly. when you have an outline, it becomes like a check-list. you just cross the points off as you make them.

people look at mine and say, 'wow that's detailed. you know that you don't need to take notes like that.' and honestly, i don't. but when i don't i don't take the kind of notes that i should and therefore miss valuable points.

message 15: by Starbubbles, event coordinator type person (new)

Starbubbles | 649 comments Mod
exactly. i could never really figure out which important details were important must recall later details. so i would do my best to try to gather them all up.

yeah, it deals with connections in the brain and whatnot. the information you use the most has greater connections and is easier to access than stuff you don't use as often. well, that was my non-scientific way of explaining something that a non-science person didn't really understand fully.

i guess that it's true that history people think somewhat alike

I like being random

message 20: by Starbubbles, event coordinator type person (new)

Starbubbles | 649 comments Mod
i do that too. i think my co-workers have placed that randomness as part of my "charm." haha

meh is what i say to working. but it does give me money...

i take it that it's more than just chores.

that would suck, a ton. i'm glad a get to do different things at work. i don't think i would have survived long otherwise.

I do that all the time!!

I'm at work now. It is so boring. I work at a yogurt shop and all I do is clean, work the register and sit and wait for a customer to come and undo everything I just did.
