Finding a Team

Need to find a team? This is the place to shout out and ask other members to team up with you.

Don't forget to include:
* How many books you will read in a TWO WEEK period
* Your goodreads User ID
(To find your Goodreads User ID, click on your name (or go to your profile page). In the URL bar you will see something like https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/8.... In this example, your User Name is 8460201-karen))

When your team is ready to sign up:

Sign Ups need to be done by one person who is entering the details for the TEAM.
This means you need to have your four players decided (and ideally a team name) before completing the sign up form. Only one person signs up on behalf of the team.

Make sure you know before signing up:
* how many books your team will read in a two week period
* the Goodreads User ID of your team members
* the email address you will use to access the team spreadsheet (there are generally issues if you don't use a gmail address. Please keep that in mind if you want fast access)

I'm looking for a Crater [or possibly Magma?] level team as I'll probably be reading between 10-14 books in a two week period, although it seems like not many people are committing to that many books so i could do a lower level team and only count some of the books i read towards the challenge i guess?

also beyond the initial countdown i am pretty confused on how all the rules work so i would like to be on a team with someone who really feels like they understand what's going on ;)

did you mean 4-6 books in one week or two? just double checking bc if you actually do 4-6 in one week then it would be doubled for two so we might be kind of at the same reading pace if that was the case...

To clarify - Each team member can have different reading levels. So you could have someone who reads 2 books per fortnight, someone with 10 books per fortnight, another with 6 and another with 20 all on the same team. The stated team levels are for the overall team reading. (So that team would be 38 books and therefore crater)

good to know, although with so many very specific things that we need to find for the countdown at the beginning i would rather not be searching for the majority of them myself so i figured having a team of people who are on at least a similar reading level would help even things out task-wise

Hi Devann - I meant 4-6 books a week so 8-12 during a 2 week period. I would prefer to not be the team captain but am willing to help however I can.

Hey Everyone!

In 2 weeks I'll read about 4-6 books, might be a bit more than that if my schedule lightens up. (Might be a few rounds in September I can do 7-9).

Just a headsup , I travel a lot and don't have access to my laptop/computer as much so might not be very active on the team discussions - but I do read them regularly (more obsessively, to be honest), and I do keep calendar deadlines on when to notify/check-in.
