I get that the characters had to be developed and stuff but I felt like too long was spent doing nothing. I also managed to mix up the boys for the entire book... Chapter 33 (end)(view spoiler)[ Why won't this book move?! We're past the half point and nothing is happening. They're just playing village people. I mean, who the hell decided to include this book in Fantasy. It's like Outlander all over again (I couldn't even finish that book). Nothing supernatural has happened. We get it, "Love Triangles! Awesome!" We don't care. Move the plot!
Also, I hate love triangles. The boys need to start doing their jobs. (hide spoiler)]

So I've Started. I'm up to chapter 5 and it's interesting so far but I'm not sure if I'm going to like Lia (view spoiler)[ I know it kind of too early to tell but from her actions from the first 2 chapter she seems very naive and selfish. I feel bad that she was being forced into an arranged marriage but she said that this marriage was so that these countries would be united against a country looking to conquer them and that both these countries don't stand a chance without the other, but she chooses to run away anyway. I understand that she's young and feels like she throwing her life away but I can't feel bad for her when she knows what this alliance means and still ran way because her parents are mean and the prince will be old.
The prince seems just as bad as Lia, choosing not to run away not for his country but because he was giving the ok to have a mistress.
I'm looking forward to learning about the assassin. I hope the author doesn't make him to broody. (hide spoiler)]

Just finished chapter 13, I'm not really liking it so far, it's kinda boring(view spoiler)[ All they're really doing so far is playing barmaid. Rafe and Kaden or the prince and the assassin. They're kinda boring too. And Paulina now pregnant which just seems like unnecessary drama (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 36 I'm liking it less the more it goes on, nothing is happening (view spoiler)[ The "love triangle" is annoying me. I hate when author write in love triangles but have a clear favorite. I really feel that author prefer Rafe over Kaden, it feel like there is no reason for Kaden to be there (hide spoiler)]

chapter 58 (view spoiler)[ I can't stand this love triangle it is so dumb. He's holding her hostage and she is kissing him. It make me wanna throw up Both Kaden and Rafe are boring and all of the feelings feel so forced and the story and plot constantly stall so it has time to develop the angst. It so annoying!! Honestly I don't either I've only heard good things but this book is so boring. Everything about it is boring. It forces a lot on the romance and even that is boring!!
