The writing is good and I'm liking the story so far.

Chapter 17 (end) Is it just me or is this book moving a little slow. (view spoiler)[I mean are we ever going to get to know about the first daughter gift that was briefly mentioned in the beginning? If she has it, what it is and if she doesn't have then why not?
Also, I kinda want Kaden and Rafe to be friends. I feel like that would make the whole love triangle situation so much better. I'm actually still hoping there won't be a love triangle but that doesn't seem possible. (hide spoiler)]

I hate that the boys are so competitive over Lia... she isn't an object to be won. They keep trying to showcase how "manly" they are.
