Were you hopeful, in the beginning, that things wouldn’t get too bad for Lucy? Were you surprised at the authenticity of her experience?

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1801 comments While I was hopeful that it wouldn't be too bad, based on the descriptions of what happened to Paige, I knew it would be bad.

It was too authentic and for me, over the top and unnecessary for this particular genre.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments I was just sick that the violence against her was so bad. The graphic nature of the depiction was a little much

Melissa (melissasd) | 676 comments I'll admit that I was hopeful. I agree with Anita though, the graphic nature made me squirm. It usually doesn't, but it really did this time.

I was really hoping it wouldn’t be as bad as I thought it would be but it sort of lived up to my expectations when I learned she’d be online. It actually wasn’t as graphic as I felt it could be.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments What made the violence so bad for me was that Lucy was an innocent. A curious, adventuresome kid, but sheltered and innocent. Yeah, her family all told her that the world wasn't a very nice place, but she hadn't experienced that.
