It was too obvious a weapon/tool to point to the right person, I thought.

I figured this wasn't a random murder. Someone who would take a screwdrivers to someone's face is in a rage and is it's personal.

I thought it indicated that a woman was the culprit. I thought a man would've beaten her or choked her or something else. I was wrong :P

I actually thought that meant the killer was a woman, too, Giulia! It actually just ended up being a weapon of convenience. I thought a man would have used something more sinister.
