My strategy: ignore the diamond ores as they are well protected by lava so just leave them there for a creeper or a zombie to mine

Mine strategy: get coal. Lots of coal. After you get the coal get iron. After you get the iron get any ore you see.

if you spawn near a village camp their until you have a productive mining camp and lots of resourses to build a house desertedpetogon64 out <=
When mining, have a bed & food as top options. You'll be able to work underground for a while that way (unless, of course, you're raising animals or crops). The food will keep you going while the bed has your above-ground area safe over the nighttimes.
when mining always have a stack of dirt ready so you can stack it and get out of the mine
bring 2 buckets of water with you into the end, make a infinate water source, spam water around to keep the endermen away (if your not on peaceful) and maby spawn some snow/iron goloums to help you keep away endermen and maby even help with the enderdragon, snow goloums will not only fire snowballs at the enderdragon but will produce snow trails so that you can collect snowballs with a shovel and fire them yourself
My advice: if silverfish swarm you in a stronghold, build a 2-block-tall column and stand on top of it, so the silverfish can't reach you, then hit them from up there.
If stuck with mobs use TNT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When underwater, always have some signs or torches ready to place so you can breathe. A water breathing potion is even better!
Here's a nice trick: if you're falling and might die, then wait till you get really close to the ground (but not touching!) then, press the Escape key and click Save and Quit to Title. After that, go back into your world, and you should fall safely!
well if you are in a pvp battle then use an invisibility potion and also you must have enchanted weapons like for me i have an enchanted diamond sword and also an enchanted bow.
well that is what i use
also if you are building a house, when it reaches night time place torches so 1) you can see and 2) it will keep the mobs away

When mining, always have a bucket of water on you. It is useful for turning lava in your way into obsidian, and can save you in a pinch.
