This was a fun read from the sci-fi genre. Maybe I am a little biased, as I work in a library myself, but I really enjoyed this adventure through alternate universes, centered around THE Library. This could have been another story from the movie franchise "The Librarian" Irene, the mc, travels to an alternate London in order to complete her latest mission. She gets paired up with a mysterious junior assistant for what she thought was a routine assignment. Chaos ensues as the story unfolds and she realizes that this assignment is far from routine, and she's not quite sure she will survive it. A definite must read for those who enjoy sci-fi/alternate universe theory.... It is the first in a series, so beware... you may get hooked. :)
