It starts with a woman waking up with memory loss, and I think she runs away from the hospital. She finds out that she is married and has a seemingly perfect life (I think I remember her husband being a doctor?). She's kept quite isolated and told that she was having an affair.

I think I read this late 1990s to earl 2000s

Her husband tells her that she killed her daughter in a car crash and has felt guilty ever since, causing her downward spiral. That isn't the truth though as her daughter is alive, but kept hidden from her. Her husband is behind this because she found out that her husband had been molesting the daughter, and then she got into a car crash which caused the memory loss.
