Someone please explain the epilogue in "Knight Takes Queen".

The epilogue sounds more like the intro to another book but in this case Dominic's niece. Is there another story coming out but in Nicole's story???
i think that it's great to know that we'll get the continuation - the set up for what's to come with Nicole isn't surprising at all, and i think that we'll get some interesting complexities.
