-I remember that in the story the protagonist had a hose, she could not exercise, she had a condition so she carried an oxygen tank to school or something like that.
-In one scene the protagonist lifts her blouse to show the boy how the hose connects to her and both are ashamed and the protagonist says sorry and tells her that she did that unconsciously
-The protagonist confesses to the boy that her mother has a special condition, she is like a kid, I think the mother has down syndrome
And the protagonist says that her mother was raped when she was hospitalized, one of the workers raped her and for that rape she (the protagonist) was born.
-The boy is the most popular of the school, I think he was blond and I think he has an alcoholic father, I really do not remember much about the boy, I just remember that he was the most popular and he starts to get interested in the protagonist
I hope someone remembers this book or has read it, it is a somewhat ancient romantic youth novel, from the time of Firelight and Hush Hush

You said it was ancient, but Firelight and Hush Hush were pubbed in 2009/2010.
