Really enjoyed this episode. Particularly with you relating the Berlin Wall to view of the 'piggies' world.

I lived in West Berlin in the late '80s, and going to the East was always a science fictional experience. West Berlin felt like it lagged the rest of Germany by a decade, but going through Check Point Charlie was like stepping through the Guardian of Forever in Star Trek. I remember my dad taking me into a toy store once, and everything they had looked like it could've been made in the 1930s. And since my dad had to wear his uniform when he went over, everyone knew we were Americans and treated us like aliens.
