Tarissa (inthebookcase) | 8 comments I had joined the challenge earlier in the year, and may have shared about the books I intended to read. Haven't been back to tell about my progress this year --- where did the year fly to?!

Here's what I've finished reading this year so far in the challenge:

The Far Side of the Loch (Little House The Martha Years, #2) by Melissa Wiley 1. The Far Side of the Loch by Melissa Wiley

The Hound of Baskervilles by Arthur Conan Doyle 2. The Hound of Baskervilles by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

.... and I'm currently reading The Princess and the Goblin by George MacDonald.

My original goal was 8 books for the challenge, and although I don't have much accomplished on my list so far, I think I can still fit the rest in by the end of 2014. :)

Tarissa, I love George MacDonald! Have not read any of his fantasy yet though. Have this on the shelf along with At the Back of the North Wind and Lillith. Have you read many of his books?

Tarissa (inthebookcase) | 8 comments Peggy, this is actually my first time reading anything by George MacDonald. A friend had just recently recommended The Princess and the Goblin to me, and it sounded like the perfect tale to read for this challenge. I'm also going to read another of his later this week, while I'm on a roll. Although I've very new to his works, I've truly enjoyed it!
