Anna Jarin's shoulders fell and for a few seconds he looked like a disappointed little boy.
"All I did was ask..." he mumbled under his breath. "Then let's just go before I give everyone typhoid or something. After all, I'm the disease carrier."
He understood what she meant, but still was very disappointed. It would have been cool to go experience something here, but that wasn't to be.

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 2178 comments "I'm on it, don't get your royal pants in a twist." Dasha quickly poked in the settings, but as she tired to finalize it the screen of her command cuff turned into a flickering checkerboard of green and black. She frowned slightly for a moment before clearing it out once the display stopped flashing and then started to input the proper settings again. She wrote it off as her nonfamiliarity with this century and particular mechanism. They generally never had any assignments here and as a general rule they tended to steer clear of all eras before the development of simple penicillin.

Anna Jarin sat down on the ground in the dust to wait for whatever the girl was doing.

message 55: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 2178 comments Once again as Dasha went to finalize the settings she had inputted the cuff's screen transformed into the same flickering checkerboard of black and green that it had been a minute ago. She reasoned that the display feature must be messed up somehow. She would need 6o get it fixed once she returned to her own time. She went on with the same process that she did with the last door. This time she found the symbol carved into a plank of wood, covered in a thick layer of dust. She tried pushing in on the plank but it didn't budge. Thinking that it had to be merely just stuck she applied more force, all that she could, but it still didn't budge. Almost like it wasnt even registering the frequency emitted by her device. She wondered when the last time this mechanism had service was. Probably way too long ago. She was starting to get a bad feeling but she pushed it aside. She breathed a frustrated sigh. "Looks like I need to call maintenance. You might get a brief look at this place after all."

message 56: by Anna (new)

Anna Jarin nodded, grinning his charming grin again. "Sure. Why not? Meanwhile, what are we going to do while you wait for maintenance to somehow show up?"
The idea of possibly looking around this old world did excite him. He wanted to do more than act regal and have to sign papers and listen to fancy talks that bored him. He hoped this girl would understand that instead of assume it was all just fun and games.

message 57: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 2178 comments "It could be a couple hours and we can't exactly just wait here that length of time, it may draw unwanted attention. For the sake of not screwing anything up we should find somewhere others are not and stay there, minimize our chances of impacting anything in this time period." She supplied. That was one of the first things that had been drilled into her head; when in a different time, especially far in the past never interact more than necessary or there could be great consequences. She had always been one to stick fairly close to such rules.

message 58: by Anna (new)

Anna "Oh, alright." Jarin sighed, standing and rubbing most of the dust off of his rear end. He glanced at his wrist and grunted.
"Let's just go and hide from everyone. How do you go find other people if you have to hide everywhere anyway?"

message 59: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 2178 comments Dasha rolled her eyes "Its different when actually on a job and this situation is a little different in general." She informed him, sounding rather bored, " Its greatly discouraged to come this far in the past in general as it is more fragile than times like your's. There there can be more room for error without great consequences. . . Wait, what am I doing? I really don't have to explain anything to you. Let's get moving." She didn't wait for what ever smart reply would surely come out of his mouth, she started walking, knowing that the other cuff was still in working order and that he would have to follow any way.

message 60: by Anna (new)

Anna Jarin watched her walk away, grinding his teeth irritably. He didn't say anything, though he had a few sarcastic responses to throw her way. Suddenly he was yanked forward by the invisible lead and he cursed out loud, stumbling to regain his balance.
"This is probably the dumbest invention ever created," he growled, glaring at his wrist.

message 61: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 2178 comments Dasha couldn't help but smirk slightly upon hearing his frustrated tone. She continued walking, choosing to not comment about his remark. As she continued on she surveyed the area for a place where they could stay without drawing attention. She was thankful for the cover of darkness that they currently had, but it wouldn't stay this way. Hopefully this would be fixed quick, this situation was far from ideal. It was bad enough to be temporarily stranded in such a place, to be temporarily stranded in such a place with an assignment in tow was significantly worse. If the media in her time got ahold of such a story they would have a field day with it and blow it ridiculously out of proportion. Even the mere thought of it made her exhale sharply. She had worked too hard to build her image to have it ruined by such a minor slip up that wasn't even entirely her fault.

message 62: by Anna (new)

Anna "What will you do if I start yelling about time travelling here? Then everyone will come out and see us wearing clothes that clearly don't fit this time period." He smirked. "I don't have anything to lose."

message 63: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 2178 comments "Oh" she stopped abruptly, whirling around to face him and roughly grabbing the front of his shirt, jerking him close to her in one fluid motion. A large blade that she seemed to pull from thin air residing in her other hand, held close to his throat and glinting in the moonlight. "Is that going to be a problem now?" She asked, dangerously calm. Even though there was about a foot of height difference between them she was confident in her abilities and stared him down, unwavering. "I've played nice so far, don't make me regret it."

message 64: by Anna (new)

Anna Jarin tilted his chin up a little so it was farther away from the blade. It certainly had scared him, but he didn't show it. Instead, he remained taking calm breaths and looked back at her. "Okay, okay." He said softly. "I won't do that. I wasn't actually going to, anyway." He relaxed in her grip and waited, hoping she would remove the knife.

message 65: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 2178 comments Dasha held it there a moment longer, glaring slightly as she tried to calculate if she could trust his statement or not. Having reached a conclusion, she let the knife drop and put it securely back where she had had it stowed at her side. "Alright . . . For your sake you better be a prince of his word." She let go of his shirt and paused a moment more to emphasize the point before turning on her heel and starting off again. It looked like they had reached the edge of the small little desert town. ". . . It looks like there might be an abandoned building up ahead. That should do until I can get something figured out." She could make out the rough outline of boards covering the doorway and windows. It also looked like part of the roof had collapsed inwards, but she couldn't quite tell in the darkness.

message 66: by Anna (new)

Anna Jarin let out a breath of relief. He was certainly relieved that she wasn't going to cut his head off, at least not yet. He followed her, spotting the building and frowning. "We're just going to stay in there? It looks...like it's going to fall down any second."

message 67: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 2178 comments "Exactly, which means it is highly unlikely that we can damage anything important or will run into anyone . . . Besides, it should just be for a couple hours, I'm sure even you will be able to survive such conditions for that long. " Dasha stated as they neared the rickety structure. She stopped before the doorway, a few loose boards occluded the entrance. She gave the one on the bottom a test tug to see how firmly it held in place. The board in question creaked under the pressure but did not give way.

message 68: by Anna (new)

Anna "I didn't say I couldn't." Jarin replied, stopping beside her and waiting for her to cause the entire building to crumble. Thankfully it didn't, but at the same time, Jarin wished it had. He pushed his hair away from his forehead and crossed his muscly arms across his chest. He looked at her a moment, then grinned. "I'll go first to make sure it's safe for you, my damsel." He laughed a little in a teasing way, and ducked quickly under the boards and into the building. He didn't know what she would do to him having said something so bold.

message 69: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 2178 comments Dasha rolled her eyes before ducking under the boards herself and into the structure beyond. Although the comment did annoy her, it was harmless and she wasn't one to use force unless she felt it necessary to protect herself or the sake of the job. ". . . You know I'm starting to think that you either have a few screws loose, a death wish, or both." She glanced around the room, her eyes slowly adjusting to the even lower level of light. With boards over the windows the only light was what filtered through the collapsed portion of the roof. She could make out the dark outline of a tipped over chair, a long counter top at the opposite of this main room, and a few busted crates along with some other miscellaneous objects. If she had to guess she would bet that this place had previously been some sort of shop.

message 70: by Anna (new)

Anna "Unfortunately the life of a prince isn't the most exciting, unless, like now, you get kidnapped by girls who literally are pretty insane." Jarin shrugged. "Hard to explain it to someone like you." He looked around, kicking an overturned chair. "Are we staying here as our new house, or are you going to explore?"

message 71: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 2178 comments Dasha didnt even argue against his remark of her being insane, as far as she was concerned it was in her favor for him to think that anyway. "This is not our anything. This is the place I have chosen to utilize as a safe space until I get this mess sorted out." She stated as she started typing away on the the cuff at her wrist, the device emitting a subtle white silver glow. "Which as I stated earlier, should not take any longer than a couple hours so there is absolutely no need to 'explore' . . ."

message 72: by Anna (new)

Anna "Alright, alright! You're assuming that everything I say has a negative meaning. And you know what I meant. This is where we are going to stay while you figure out what you broke." He grumbled, sitting down on the cleared part of the floor. This felt like waiting for a death sentence, which was pretty close. He would be turned in and handed over as if running away was really a bad thing to do.

message 73: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 2178 comments "I'm simply making sure you know your place in this business transaction . . . And I did not break anything." Dasha added. Normally she wouldn't of been inclined to bother arguing such a thing, but this prince just seemed to have a way of getting on her nerves. She found herself wishing that he would try some last ditch effort to kill her and escape as so many past captees had so she would have a reason to punch him in the face. She continued with what she was doing, but frowned as an error message appeared on the curved screen. She breathed a frustrated sigh and tried again.

message 74: by Anna (new)

Anna Jarin leaned up against the wall with a nod.
"It's good to know that I'm at least worth some money. Even if it means I'm valuable to someone like you." He chuckled, watching her with a somewhat adorable smirk.

message 75: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 2178 comments As Dasha got a second error message she momentarily glanced up from the screen and over to him. She caught sight of the smirk on his face and once again fantasized about punching him. Hard. Preferably with a brick. "If you ask me I'm definitely not getting paid enough." She muttered in reply as her eyes once again went to the screen at her wrist. She surely had to be typing in something wrong, that was the only explanation. She forced her fingers to slow and carefully typed in what she knew was the right commands.

message 76: by Anna (new)

Anna "I didn't ask you. But if I'm honest, you're probably not being paid enough." Jarin agreed, knowing full well at how obnoxious he wss currently being. "After all, I am pretty priceless. Can't put a realistic price on me." He laughed a bit to himself.

message 77: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 2178 comments "The only thing priceless about you is your vainglorious perception of yourself. . . No wonder whoever put the bounty on your head wants you dead. If it wasn't for the bonus offered upon your alive arrival I might of already plunged a dagger through you just to shut you up."
The last part wasn't exactly a true statement, she had never killed on the job before and she wasn't planning on starting now, but he wouldn't know that.
She reread over what she had typed in before she clicked the submit option again. Almost immediately the all too familiar blue error message popped up. She hadn't realized she had been holding her breath until she let it out sharply with a few muttered curses thrown in.

message 78: by Anna (new)

Anna "Okay. Fine. You win for now. I'm a jerk, and you're amazingly perfect." Jarin muttered, falling silent. He already knew that he was going to be killed at the end of all of this. He almost wished she would just come over and kill him. It was almost worse to have to sit here, waiting for the inevitable. He sighed and picked up a loose stone from the floor and threw it at the girl's boots.

message 79: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 2178 comments Dasha looked back to the error message, panic slowly building within her. She managed to keep a fixed and unreadable expression. It had been stupid to accept a job while still having a captee in tow. She should have gone with her gut in the beginning and not allowed herself to of been persuaded by her head. It had been uncaracteristic of her . . and it had landed her in the completely wrong time with a busted time doorway mechanism, an apparently too weak to work in this century communication device, and a captee who was a layman to time travel and the hazards of screwing up the fragile fabric of the past. It was a nightmare that she had brought upon herself. "Definately not perfect." she breathed so quietly it was almost inaudible to her own ears. Her eyes were still frozen to the screen at her wrist. The feel of the stone the prince had threw hitting against her boots broke her out of her semi catatonic state and she let her wrist drop back to her side, the screen going dark as she did so. "It seems we will be here a little longer than expected." She crossed the room to a spot where the roof was completely gone and she had a clear view of the night sky. The moon hung above, a sliver of silver that was just a bit too thick to resemble the tip of a finger nail, but not developed quite enough to be counted as half full. ". . . At least until the next full moon."

message 80: by Anna (new)

Anna Great. Now they were trapped here for at least an entire month. And Jarin wasn't sure how he would be able to survive with this irritating girl, his captor. He sunk lower against the rough boards behind him.
"Oh well..." he sighed softly. He didn't know what would end up happening now. Now he looked defeated, and almost like a little boy again as he was hunched there.

message 81: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 2178 comments Dasha took in a deep breath. This certainly wasn't ideal. The longer they stayed here, the more likely it was that something would go terribly wrong.
She would at least need to try fixing the time doorway herself. At this point that was the most promising option there was. "Tomorrow night I'll take a better look at the busted time mechanism, see if I can figure it out myself and get us out of here sooner." She planned aloud.
She glanced over to where the prince was slouched against the wall, looking more like a pouty boy than the man of noble status he was. He was a mystery that she had yet to figure out, she would of thought that such news would of been well received, it did delay his turn over time after all.
As she watched him her hand wondered to the belt hidden under her jacket. It slid past where her knife was holstered and to a small pouch just beyond. Inside she knew there sat a single plastic vial of clear liquid. She hesitated a moment before pulling the vial out. She glanced down at it a moment, turning it over in her hand and weighing her options. She could possibly half it? No she decided, that might impact its efficiency. It was all or nothing. She had been hoping she would never have to use it, but the current situation demanded it. For a moment longer she stood, conflicted, but finally decided to go with what was best for the job and the sake of the future world.
She breathed a sigh and walked over to where the prince was. "Here" she held out the vial to him. "It wont harm you. . . It's sort of like vaccinations in your time, just quicker acting, more inclusive in what it will protect against, and more effective. It'll also neutralize any modern day germs you could be harboring that would be detrimental to this time. Since I'm not sure how long this is going to take, I can't risk you spreading anything."

message 82: by Anna (new)

Anna Jarin glanced up at the vial of the clear liquid.
"Wouldn't you want to use it for yourself so you don't get sick from anything?" He asked. Then he thought again at how it would mean she might be less likely to kill him. If he was sick, she might decide to do away with him do she wouldn't have to worry about that. He was upset with having to be stuck in the past, because though she might not be able to turn him in for the reward, he couldn't try to escape here.
"Fine." Jarin reached out and took the bottle quickly. "Do I just drink it or does it need to be injected like vaccinations in our time?"

message 83: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 2178 comments "With this job its required to get all necessary vaccinations at least once every six months." It was believed that six months was the cut off date for effectiveness. Higher accuracy meant less room for error but the sacrifice of longevity. "Right now I am not at risk, and we won't be here long enough for it to become an issue." If she remembered correctly her last dosage had been administered about four and a half months ago, which meant she still had a month and a half. By then they would be long gone from this place. . . at least she hoped as much. ". . . You just drink it." She answered. "And I suggest downing it in one go." She knew that it didn't have a pleasant taste, even the future hadn't yet perfected manufacturing medicinal products that didn't have a horrendous after taste.

message 84: by Anna (new)

Anna Jarin undid the top, looked at the liquid, and tilted it back, chugging it as fast as he could. His face contorted into a disgusted face, and he set the bottle down beside him.
"Thanks for the warning. That's nasty. It's like drinking cleaning chemicals."

message 85: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 2178 comments Dasha simply nodded in reply. ". . . That stuff's probably going to leave you feeling pretty fatigued in about five minutes, so you should try to get somewhat comfortable and get some rest." She informed him. There were still things that she needed to get done tonight, especially now that she knew assistance was not merely a couple hours away. "I'm going to increase the distance allotment for now and go gather some essentials if I can. If you know what's good for you, you wont test it and will just stay here." She doubted that he would have the energy to venture beyond this structure anyway in a few minutes, but it felt like a good warning to give.

message 86: by Anna (new)

Anna "Thanks. Could have told me before you made me drink it." Jarin muttered, lying down on the cleared part of the floor, knees bent. He put his hands behind his head and sighed, looking up at her. He waited for her to leave, then sat up. He didn't feel too tired, at least not yet, and what could be the harm of just walking out for a few minutes?
He stood up, yawned, and headed towards the exit of the half crumbled building out into the night. He was already feeling tired, and it was a little annoying, but he shook it away best he could and looked around, down the street to where the tavern was still filled with laughing.
Jarin walked down the dusty street, growing increasingly tired as he moved. It felt like his body wss going to shut down on him right then and there.
"I'm not tired..." He yawned again, then stumbled, falling to his knees. "Not tired."
On his hands and knees, Jarin let out a soft sigh and fell forward onto his forehead into the dust, completely worn out.

((Just wanted him to be a bit rebellious and see what Dasha would do XD

Also is that alright in how he got tired and worn out?))

message 87: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 2178 comments ((Well of course, that's what will make this interesting, lol. And yes, that was perfectly fine))

Dasha had thought about staying until he fell asleep or until it had settled in, but that would of wasted precious time. Instead she had left, believing that he surely wouldn't be stupid enough to wonder beyond the building even if he did have the energy to do so.
The first thing she was concerned about was clothing. Even if they managed to stay hidden for the duration of their stay here, it was too much of a risk to keep wearing modern clothing. The second, and as equally important of a concern, was finding a source of clean water. Some in her line of work chose to carry a water purifier system with them incase of times such as this, but she had never had much use for one and had found that it was merely extra bulk that slowed her down. Right now she found herself realizing that that extra weight was worth it if faced with times such as this. She made a mental note to start carrying such a device with her on future jobs.
Dasha knew that at this point there was no way that they would get out of here without leaving some sort of impact, after all the resources they needed had to come from somewhere, meaning they wouldn't end up as originally intended. Her goal had to be to make as little of an impact as possible. With that in mind, and the royal pain of a prince not, she went about her business, searching for things that she could use without there being a major impact.

Anna ((!!!! I'm so sorry!! I thought it was your turn!))

Jarin lay there, feeling much too weak to move. He knew it was stupid; that much was clear as daylight. And now here he was. He couldn't move or do anything, and that girl-he had to figure out her name so he could call her something other than that girl-would be furious.
He tried crawling back towards the damaged building, but as he did, the heavy drowsy feeling of sleep pulled itself over him. He yawned, then laid his head down in the dust, and drifting off into a deep sleep. If that girl wanted to kill him, maybe she would do it when he was asleep.

message 90: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 2178 comments Twenty minutes later Dasha had managed to gather some things that would be needed including a couple sets of clothing that were either near threadbare or needed some mending but would work for now, a bucket of water, and some fire wood.
She made her way back to the dilapidated building, mind still on trying to find a solution that would get them out of here quicker. Still, she came up empty handed with ideas. As she reached the boarded over doorway she ducked under the lowest board and stepped into the room beyond, careful to not make too much noise as to not disturb the prince. She gently set the bucket of water down as her eyes began to adjust to the dimmer conditions. Once they had she looked to where she had left the prince, expecting to see him splayed across the floor, unmoving. Instead she was greeted with an empty room. She quickly turned in a circle, checking the entirety of the space for any sign of him, but it quickly became apparent that he was not here. She let the rest of what she was holding fall to the ground with an angry clatter before heading out the door again, muttering under her breath. At least she knew that he certainly couldn't of made it far. She headed in the opposite direction from which she had just returned, knowing that if he would have ventured that way she would of run into him on her way back.
Dasha soon spotted the outline of someone laying on the ground, probably the prince no doubt. She walked closer, and her suspicion was quickly confirmed just by glancing at clothing alone. She paused over him a moment, crossing her arms and telling herself to act rationally. After she felt that she could interact without giving in to the urge of strangling him, she gave the currently unconscious form a sharp kick to the side. "Get up." She knew that such an order would probably feel impossible, but she had no sympathy to spare.

message 91: by Anna (new)

Anna Jarin felt the sharp pain suddenly in his side, even in his subconscious state. He groaned a little, moving his hand through the dust a bit. His entire head felt heavy, and tired, and he wanted nothing more than to slip back into the quiet rest. He managed to turn his head, blinking his eyes and staring blearily up at the girl. He groaned again at her command.
"Can't..." He murmured, closing his eyes again. "You made me exhausted..." He yawned, and seemed to try and fall back to sleep again, chest heaving in a sigh.

message 92: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 2178 comments Dasha didn't have the patience nor did she want to take the time to argue. "Fine, have it your way." She had drug him around earlier while he was dead weight and she could most certainly do it again, but this time she wasn't going to be so nice about it. She grabbed the back of his shirt and started towards the building, roughly dragging him along the ground behind her. She knew the shirt collar had to be choking him and that the rough ground could cause damage if bare skin was dragged against it, but in this case that force felt justified.

message 93: by Anna (new)

Anna Jarin felt the tug at his shirt, then suddenly it seemed to tighten, cutting off half of his air supply and causing him to struggle, grabbing at his collar. He coughed and choked, and the ground underneath him tore at his stomach as the shirt had been moved up by her grasp. He tried to speak and tell her to stop, but through his choking and gagging he needed to concentrate on nothing else but trying to breathe best he could. Which was almost impossible.

message 94: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 2178 comments Dasha ignored his sounds of struggle and continued to drag him until they reached the dilapidated building, which with her pace spead up by anger, didn't take long. Once at the doorway she ducked under the lowest board and dragged the prince in behind her, through the pile of fire wood that she had dropped and releasing him only when she reached the center of the room. She placed the length of the room as she began to rant. "Twenty minutes. I was gone for twenty bloody minutes and you couldn't resist the urge to wonder outside while impaired when I specifically warned you not to! Someone could have run into you! . . . But I guess it's as much my fault as it is your own. What did I really expect of a runaway prince." She emphasized the word harshly, making it seem like a curse word rather than a respected title.

message 95: by Anna (new)

Anna Being dragged across the rough wood caused another groan of agony to rise out of his mouth. Jarin closed his eyes with a moan, and held his hands to his torn and ripped stomach, feeling splinters of wood lodged in at different angles, causing tiny sparks of pain. He sighed, feeling the drowsiness begin to overtake him again.
"You did decide to capture me...don't forget." He mumbled into the floor. "I didn't ask for it."

message 96: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 2178 comments Dasha rolled her eyes at his comment but didn't argue the subject any further. She forced herself to still and, as she did so, realized that a great deal of her anger had been a product of panic, and now that everything was under control it had begun to dissipate and she could think clearly and rationally again. She took in a deep breath and let it out in a silent sigh, knowing her quick temper had concequences, at this point mostly to the prince. Her temper was one thing that she had yet to master control over. Knowing that by now he would be out again, she went over to him and carefully shifted him so that he was on his back. She took off her black leather jacket and folded it, slipping it behind his head. She told herself that it was to do herself a favor by preventing her having to listen to him of complain of a sore neck in the morning, but at the back of her mind she knew it was because she felt somewhat guilty. After a moment she slowly pulled up the hem of his shirt, surveying the damage that had been done there.

message 97: by Anna (new)

Anna Jarin was a fit guy, so his stomach was toned and muscled. Unfortunately at the time, it was rather bad looking, with his skin raw and red, bleeding in some spots from the gravel and wood he had been dragged across. There were several large splinters of wood sticking into him at different angles, and across all of it, everything was covered with dust.
Jarin kept sleeping, breathing deeply.

message 98: by Lynn (new)

Lynn (papergalaxies) | 2178 comments Dasha bit her bottom lip as her eyes scanned over the damage. Even though it was dark she could tell that it wasn't good. She had definately complicated things for both of them, now on top of trying to find a way back home she had to worry about making sure all of this didn't get infected while it healed. At least she did have a few first aid essentials on hand, not nearly enough or what she needed- some antibacterial spray, a measly roll of gauze, a few bandages, and a couple pain pills, but it was better than nothing. The first order of business would be to pull what splinters she could and then get everything cleaned up.
She set to work, pulling out splinters as carefully as she could, using a hairpin to assist as necessary. It took a while, but finally she had managed to pull all that she could find and she moved on to cleaning up the area. For this the only plausible thing to do was sacrifice one of her shirts. She decided to keep the dark purple flannel that she had had layered under her jacket and instead sacrificed the dark grey t-shirt she had underneath that- trading it for one of the shirts she had just brought back. It wasn't like it would be helpful while they were stuck here anyway, they needed to wear clothing that fit the era. She ripped off the sleeve and retrieved the bucket of water she had brought back, dunking the ripped off sleeve in. She made quick but careful work of cleaning up the area, and when she was satisfied, set the now dirt and blood stained rag of a used-to-be-sleeve aside. She found the antibacterial spray that she had and gave a few areas that she was concerned about a good spray before she began ripping the rest of her sacrificed shirt into strips to cover the damage. After that was done she started wrapping everything up with the newly created strips, tying them firmly into place.

message 99: by Anna (new)

Anna Jarin groaned frequently, but didn't stir and wake up. He was far too exhausted, and by now, he was sound asleep.

((Do you want to just skip to the next day when he wakes up and is fine?))

Once Dasha had finished with that she went about cleaning up everything else. She pushed the fire wood she had gathered off to the side and then went out to dump the now dirty water. She went out and refilled the bucket with new water again, this time certain that there was no fear of him venturing out while she was gone. Once she returned she set the newly full bucket down and settled in to try and get a few hours of rest in herself, she was going to need it if she was going to try fixing the time mechanism herself.
