Interview with Author Crystal Miles Gauthier
Hosted By Accredited Author Ken Donaldson
1.I have seen you, as I am sure many other readers are familiar with you from the self-publishing forums, give us a little insight into your background as a writer.
From the time I could remember my Mother always had shelves of romance novels. Dad even read some too. My first book I remember reading was Angel Unaware by Dale Evans. It brought out emotions a five year old should never have. Nonetheless it was the start of my reading and writing adventure. The first book I ever wrote (at age 8) was called: Under The Willow Tree. It won a Caldecott Award for Childrens Books.
2.Tell me what other authors do you enjoy, who inspired you or influenced you the most to become a writer?
Ernest Hemingway
Stephen King
Ann Rice
Melanie Corona of Australia is my mentor.
Scarlett Jade of Michigan, USA
Kenneth Donaldson of Australia
3.What made you decide upon the genre you are currently pursuing?
I have always loved Historical Romance and knew I could write in the genre.
4.What is special about how you write. Do you have any set routine of method you follow?
I write at the spur of a moment. Television on and a cup of coffee or tea at my side. Usually with a cat sitting somewhere near, or on me.
5.What is the future plans you see for your writing next?
I will be writing five books in my time travel society series. Then I have a psychic thriller planned, a modern romance and a zombie teen book.
6.Do you have any brief thoughts in passing you would like to share with the readers?
My books are not full of sex or murder. I believe in appealing to all readers. My books have a little something for everyone.
If you should choose to write a book. Write about what you know, what you feel, what you experience.
I do wish you all the best in the future. Certainly has been a real pleasure Talk with you Crystal. That is where we conclude this Interview.
