Sharon PLB (sharonlpb) | 234 comments Thanks, Hilary! With those middle books, I think I'll be up-to-date with the series.

Thanks Kristina! I'm looking forward to getting back to this series.

Linda (rudylkr) | 716 comments Finished my first book for the month (Death in Four Courses) over the weekend and did something I never do, started the second book the next day (it works for the bingo category called on Saturday). I'm having fun getting back to this series.

Linda (rudylkr) | 716 comments This is just weird. Finished my second book already, Topped Chef. Really enjoyed these books. So weird to be done with both of them this early in the month. Guess I'll go work on other challenges.

Gary Sundell | 794 comments Only partway into my first, enjoying it so far. Been finishing off a couple of books in my currently reading stack which has put me behind a bit.

I really like that series too, Tari -- I've been saving the latest one so as to have it to look forward to. Glad you liked it!

I read one of these years ago, Gary. You're inspiring me to read the rest!

Jennifer (jhaltenburger) | 648 comments Finished my two for the month, which also finishes the series as it existed when I set out -- naturally, a new one came out about two weeks ago..... Two books forward, one book back... :)
Tree of Life and Death (Danger Cove, #7) by Elizabeth Ashby A Slaying in the Orchard (Danger Cove Farmers' Market Mystery #2) by Elizabeth Ashby .

The new one is a crossover and I'm looking forward to reading it --after, of course, i get to my goal of reading a hundred books I already own before obtaining any more!

Looking forward to next month's picks!

26 books in series. After my current read, Death on the Aisle (The Mr. and Mrs. North Mysteries) by Frances Lockridge Death on the Aisle I will have 22 to go. It looks like the Norths get more screen time as the series progresses.

I think Death on the Aisle is how I first heard about this series. I read a book review article about 30 years ago on the best mysteries having to do with the theatre and it was on the list, and it made me start looking for the Lockridge books.

I've got one of their books (Curtains for a Jester, I think) on my kindle. It's later in the series so I've been waiting to get earlier ones, but lately I've been thinking I should just try it. Thanks for the reminder!

Barbara Sousa | 504 comments I finished both of my books for the month:
Tea Cups and Carnage (A Tourist Trap Mystery, #7) by Lynn Cahoon Hospitality and Homicide (A Tourist Trap Mystery, #8) by Lynn Cahoon

They were fantastic (as are all Tourist Trap books). I think I want to retire to South Cove!

I finished listening to my books for this month A Witch Before Dying A Witch Before Dying (A Wishcraft Mystery, #2) by Heather Blake and The Good, the Bad, and the Witchy The Good, the Bad, and the Witchy (A Wishcraft Mystery, #3) by Heather Blake . I'm enjoying the cast of characters which continues to expand.

Sharon PLB (sharonlpb) | 234 comments Just finished Fatally Flaky, my second book for August. With these two, I've completed the series. It's a bit sad because I always liked them and I don't think Diane Mott Davidson is writing them anymore. I suspect these will be some I will reread.

Finished my first one a couple of days back (A Medal for Murder by Frances Brody A Medal for Murder (Kate Shackleton, #2) by Frances Brody ) for some reason I really struggled with this one and as I have some books to read and review for virtual book tours I think it might be next month before I get to the second one!

Tari (thann) | 133 comments I've finished the second of my two books, Murder in the Locked Library Ellery Adams 8/24/19. Thanks to Jennifer for helping me get farther along in this series by one of my fave cozy authors.

message 74: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia | 96 comments I finished my second book: A Fatal Grace. I'm so very happy that my grandmother recommended this series to me. I have greatly enjoyed both books and I'm looking forward to more in the future.

message 75: by Gary (new)

Gary Sundell | 794 comments 29 pages left in my second book, should be done with it this afternoon.

message 76: by Gary (new)

Gary Sundell | 794 comments Finished just before midnight. Enjoyed book 4 in the Mr. And Mrs. North series despite the book having more of their friend Detective Bill Weigand and his assistant Mullins than the Norths. I will get back to the Norths again soon I expect, there are 22 more in the series.

Phew! finally got around to reading my 2nd book (the first I struggled with), I am glad I came back to it as this one was a page turner and a half (I was still reading it at 1.30 this morning!)
