Can't edit my book info

I see message "Your permissions will only allow the editing of the metadata" but I can't edit book info on book i've added, why?

If you aren't a Goodreads Librarian you only have a short window of opportunity to edit the information. I have been told it is around 24 hours.

To apply to become a librarian if you go to the top of this group. Click on librarian manual & the application is there. Don't forget to mention what languages you speak.
