I love to read books relating to rebellion against the government and reading different kinds of governments and the social impact it has on the characters. Similar to Divergent and The Hunger Games. It's also about romance which is another favorite topic of mine. Learning about the relationships that form and grow as the characters move throughout the plot. My slight obsession with these kind of books began with the novel The Giver, which I read in third grade. It still is today one of my favorite and memorable books to date.

Amanda Butler | 3 comments The main character, Vi, was born a "Goodie"a person who follows the rules, no freedom, nothing. A good little minion. She changed when her sister died and was taken by the "Thinkers". She became a Baddie, she wanted to be bad, and while I don't want to be bad, I do want to stick out as a person, I don't want to be a follower. It is slightly fast paced, but I'm definitely going to continue reading. Page 136 out of 405

Amanda Butler | 3 comments Freedom is limited. You only have so many choices before choices get decided for you. The overall message in Possession is about choice, what you can choose and what is chosen for you. I enjoyed this book and I'm excited to see it expand in the next book (which I hope there is considering the massive cliffhanger.) Finished.
