Hi Carla, I just wanted to verify that I'm acquainted with Ava Manello/K.T. Fisher and we're not the same person. I never knew there were any similarities in the blurb between our two books until I saw this. It's a funny curiosity and nothing more, as far as I can see. :)
My best guess it's pure coincidence. Sometimes authors also like to use a similar style from another successful novel for their description, and I have no problem with that. For what it's worth, my book Outlaw Kind of Love was published about a month before K.T. Fisher's Severed Angel. I don't know if K.T. took inspiration from my blurb, but I'm totally fine with it if she did.
K.T. Fisher is a fine author in her own right and I know many have loved her MC books. Thanks for the question, ladies. I'm pretty sure her stories are very different from mine beyond the packaging. :)
HiI'm afraid I don't see the similarities myself. I have read (and enjoyed) Nicole's book, but not until after our book was released. To my knowledge they have very different plot lines, so this is just sheer coincidence.
The synopsis was actually put together by myself, KT Fisher and our beta team. Perhaps, inadvertently some similarity may have arisen from that, but not consciously.
We're three very different people, and last time I looked, although I write under a pen name, we're all real people.
I hope you enjoy both books x
