°~Amy~° (amybooksit) I ended up with 3 upvotes and 5 down.

I upvoted Earth Day, Discrimination and 20/20. I decided that I could deal with TED and/or the Texas Lariat if those make it through so those got to "live". The other lists, those went on the chopping block for me. The remaining 10 that I didn't vote for or against are all ok, I can make any of them work with my current tbr.

Overall, I am still happy with how the list is rounding out. Good work everyone!

I was thinking of reading Where The Crawdads Sing, too! Did not know she recommended it. Still, that’s only one...

Serendipity | 441 comments I upvoted 7 this week and didn’t dawn vote any. My instinct was to down vote magical realism since I don’t like it but when I investigated I saw I’d already read several books on the list and quite liked them. My votes went to Earth Day, 5 under 35 (I like that it’s specific and different, not a lot of authors I’m familiar with so a good nudge outside my usual wheelhouse), theme of discrimination (keen to see some diversity in the prompts and hope this is broad enough to appeal to many), related to a museum (simply because I have Meet me at the Museum on my TBR) , fan fiction (because it is different), the TED Summer Reading List and either 20/20 or 20th book (I was a fan of many of the week 1 prompts related to the year 2020 or events happening in it - am hoping some of them reappear but in the meantime went with one of these ).
