Having trouble getting approved as an author

I applied twice, three days ago and supplied all the information needed, including that of my publisher. Any idea why I was denied the first time? I still haven’t heard back from the second time I applied a couple hours after receiving the initial denial email.

Any insight into this would be so helpful. I also emailed customer care.

Librarians are volunteers who do book cataloging & stuff like that. We don't have any insight into their decisions.

In the past I believe applications have been declined because the book was incomplete or didmt have an ISBN or ASIN. If that doesn't apply to you - sorry I got nothing.

Librarians have no control over approvals of Goodreads Author status. If you are having a problem with yours, you'll need to use the Contact Us link on the Help page.
