Well, I don't believe you're an asshole; no real asshole could keep his cultish fanbase so happy and dedicated all these years. Trust me, I know of many asshole horror writers.

Scott, I do plan on reading it. Thanks for the link. Many times I have resisted books for whatever reason at the time, only to enjoy them so much I wonder why I waited so long. The problem may have been that I tried listening to the audio, but I'm more of a visual person and that messed up my concentration. That said, I couldn't get enough of Nocturnal on podcast. Such a blast it!
