Serializing a SciFi first draft

I FINALLY decided to put some effort behind my writing and, as part of that, I've started a writer's blog on which I am serializing my first long-form effort, a SciFi missive called "Shift".

The first 2 parts (about 5K words each) are available now and the 3rd should be up in less than a week. I would love to get some honest feedback.

Nothing encourages like committing publicly.
