I just started Blaming. Her style seems terser, but still a sharp observer of people’s follies and pecadillos. There’s also an afterword by her daughter who tells some wonderful stories about her mother.
And the heroine’s granddaughters, Dora and Isobel, are a hoot. She is very good at capturing children.

Published posthumously in 1976, Blaming is Elizabeth Taylor's twelfth novel.
Thanks to everyone who has joined me reading all of her novels in publication order!
Please let me know in the finished thread which novel is your favourite and why.
Do you have any thoughts on reading them in the order they was published?
