Re-enroll with KDP Select?

I think you should try to have a look at what the numbers are for your genre (which you did not mention) - I know that some genres have 90%+ of the audience on Amazon and so pushing wide would be too much effort for little gain in the audience.
If you see people read your book(s) through KDP Select, keep in mind that leaving it would mean you'd lose readers there. Which comes back to what I said at the start. Try to make a guess whether the potential gain of readers on other platforms would outweigh the loss of 'borrows'.

A good - and free way - to research is to check out the Amazon bestseller list for your genre. See how many of the books are in KU to get a feel for how popular the genre is in the program :)

When you enroll in KU, you grant Amazon the exclusive distribution rights to the manuscript. Price is not really a consideration. An exception can be made for ARC's or review copies but, my experience is it's best not to cross the Zon ;)

Yeah, Wattpad is free to use, and KU users have to pay a monthly subscription. KU brings in a little money though that I can use for advertising, but the exclusivity part kinda stinks. I'm releasing small samples of my work on Wattpad now though, trying to draw readers there to read it on KU or just spend the 99 cents to download it.
Any opinions or experiences on this? My goal is to reach as many readers as possible, not necessarily make money, if that helps.
