Have you heard the rumor around campus about the locker room?

If you haven't, let me enlighten you: Legend has it if you bring a girl into the sacred after-game domain of the baseball locker room, it will end with a walk down the aisle. One rowdy and naked encounter against the lockers with the girl of your dreams will make her your wife.

Translation: baseball players are stupidly superstitious and believe the locker room has magical powers.

But not all baseball players are superstitious, me included.

So when the girl I've fallen for brushes me off, I start to question if I need to switch my way of thinking. Maybe it's time I finally hand out a coveted invitation to the locker room.

The only question is, will she accept?

Hi guys! I'm currently on chapter 9. I actually have been enjoying it so far. The interactions between Emory and Knox have been cute and doesn't feel forced.

(view spoiler)[ However I didn't appreciate the fact that he kissed another girl at the same party he was trying to hit on Emory. At that point I wondered if I was going to like him moving forward. (I know they weren't together, but the same night!?!).
Besides that, he is pretty transparent when it comes to his interest in her. No mind or head games, He just putting himself out there. She is actually the one who is holding back because of being hurt by her ex.

And the who thing with the ex is just a tad bit mind boggling. Not the cheating because I've seen that happen to many times, but she was with him for 6 yrs. and there was not one single sign that he was the type of person who would send a text like he did in all that time? I guess he had a personality transplant if he never showed a sign that he would do something like that. (hide spoiler)]

I can understand this. I haven't had a moment where I felt it was just hard to put down and when actually reading instead of doing an audiobook, I need to be sucked right in to finish quickly. As it is I haven't gotten past chapter 9 since I posted the yesterday. I'm going not giving up on it yet, since I don't dislike it, but if I don't get a bit further in a few days I may put it aside for a bit.

Oh no. Pg 35. (view spoiler)[hes kissed another girl. So I will say I'm firmly in the camp of once they meet, he can't be kissing anyone else. It's not cheating but it ruins the magic. He's not going to be in love but I don't want to read him kissing someone else. This is I'm 90% sure a 3 star and I'm not fussed about finishing this. (hide spoiler)]

Shan well done for getting to chapter 9. I'm halfway through chapter 4 and I'm not fussed. I'd rather be reading the Naturals series which I've done 2 books for in the same week and I'm holding myself back from buying the 3rd.

I'm through Chap 5 and have to admit, it's not one I can't put down. It's ok so far but that's about all I'd say.

Megan and Karen, it's so funny that I was coming here to say that I may not continue with this book. There are so many other things that I could be reading and actually enjoying more than this, It's just not holding my attention.
