SOLVED. PNR girl and boy work at a club for boy's uncle. Trying to escape abuse. Boy working in VIP section goes into coma due to demon (or vamp?) bite, girl join paranormal team to find cure

Read in the past 1 yr via kindle unlimited. Adult. So the girl & boy (they're both 18 over over), anyways she's in the care of the boy's family but its an abusive family situation. The uncle beats both of them severely. They both work at a club, all money goes to the uncle but they are squirreling money away so they can escape. Right before they're able to get their last hundred dollars or so, so they can escape there's a shooting at the club. He is working the VIP section and what happened is a vampire or demon tries to do a hit on the people that he's serving. The girl shows up in that section and tries to kick the demons a$$. The demon (or vampire??) is super interested in her because she stands up to him so he tells her he won't kill the boy but instead does something that he goes into a coma. The paranormal police show up and pretty much take the boy that's in the coma with them and the girl. The guy tells the girl that if she trains with a paranormal police they will do everything they can to save the boy. When she is walking around the agency dorm she Witnesses a few of the team practicing their abilities. The team that she'll be on she watched practice one of the guys has elemental power of Fire, he was able to spread fire all over his body. Skip like two chapters over and something happens in the agency I think maybe her powers manifest something maybe Darkness not quite sure but anyways she's doing something with her powers and the elemental fire guy comes in to save the day or it's vice versa his powers gets out of hand and she Saves the Day. This is where I stopped reading and I really would like to find a book so I can continue on

The coma that the boy is in, is not rare. As at the paranormal agency they have a room dedicated to paranormals that are in the same situation but it's always deadly. So far there is no cure. I think the only way to cure it is if the demon who put them the disease in the first place takes it back. So this is pretty much why she joins, she wants to find that demon (vampire??) guy from the club. And this is her only way to finding him and also to train.

bump: summary: girl & boy are forced to work at club all money goes to boy's uncle. But they are savings small amounts of money at a time. It was decided that that night's shift was going to be the last night and they were going to run away. That night the boy was working in the VIP section of the club, she was just working general floor giving drinks. The club erupts in chaos she runs to the VIP section, boy is being held by a demon or a vamp and his lackeys. She demands that the boy be let go. The demon/vamp likes her cojones (bc she tried to fight him) and he tells her that he won't kill the guy but instead bites him. The guy goes into a coma and demon/vamp and his crew disappear at the same time another paranormal team comes in to attack the bad guys. This team takes the coma guy and she goes with them. She's decides to join their team. She's being shown around the base and see's a guy that she's super-attracted too. He can manipulate/create fire. She see's the rest of this team in their individual work-out space. When she joins the team she's injected with a drug to give her powers. They bring her to a room to test out what her powers are and it goes ALLLLLLL wrong. And the fire dude comes in a helps/rescues her. Can't remember after that. Side note, she see's a room full of people/team members that are in coma's too. These people are all dying as the I.V.'s are keeping the bodies going like they should. They tell her the only way to bring the individual person back awake is for the demon/vamp who bit them has to do it. That is the reason she decides to take the experimental drug and join the team.
