Trying to find a series from a few years ago

Howdy All,
So here's what I remember but I hope I'm not mixing books which is easy enough to do. The protagonist is Dave(???) He works at a corporation as the CEO and somehow he's a simulation as well simultaneously. He has a double that functions for him when he's in the simulation. His PA becomes his love interest in the simulation. The one scene that stands out is they're on a planet??? and a spoiled noble brat decides he wants his love interest. She tells him to stuff it, he goes and gets the judge to arrest her on false charges. Dave plays it cool till the trial. When the judge calls his lady a wanton lady or something he's about to let the hammer down and then the "elders" come into the courtroom and impose sanctions on the judge, the spoiled brat, and the brat's family in favor of Dave?

Any help would be much appreciated, it's driving me crazy!
