Heather | 8548 comments Well, being a female I could go two ways depending on the man I'm with and how well I know him, also how much I want to impress him.
If he is into the grotesque or maybe anatomy, or I want him to think I'm 'cool' and can stomach that kind of thing, I would take him to see some Damien Hirst. Or maybe if I want to 'lose him' I would also take him to Damien Hirst. That all depends.

The Twelve Desciples

God Knows Why
2005

Reverting to other comments from another thread, I believe this kind of art is only for shock value and I do not like OR appreciate it. There is NO point to this.

Heather | 8548 comments As for what I would share...that also depends.
If he is into simple, pretty art to look at, he is a bit amateur and doesn't really get into contemplating or studying a piece, I would take him to see some Impressionist art. It is pretty and easy on the eyes, it's popular and well-known even among those not as familiar with art. It might gain me some points with him...

If he is into art, I would want to take him to a museum which intrigues me a bit more. I haven't seen the Guggenheim yet but have always wanted to, I really enjoyed the Musee d'Orsee and would love to take a man I like there.
