ABANDONED. Paranormal/Fantasy - Rockstar is recruited into saving the world from paranormal danger

Looking for the title of a paranormal/fantasy paperback I read back in the mid-1990s. The protagonist is the lead singer of a rockband (modeled after the Rolling Stones). He is chased through different Earth-like dimensions. I remember ley lines and Stonehenge being important to the storyline.

Edit: I remember that in one of the dimensions everyone had blue skin. The light blue skinned people were treated in a superior manner compared to the dark blue skinned people.
