Karin Hi, I just dropped by and all of the conversations have disappeared. At first I thought it might have been done on purpose, but then I saw somewhere else that this happened for no apparent reason somewhere else.

I clicked on "Crossroads" above, and the old ones are there. Do you mean with this topic 'What's Up', as this is the first I've seen.

Karen, I just haven't been doing anything here. I haven't given up entirely on it, but I need to get energized to get it active again.

Karin Okay, I couldn't see anything at all, and didn't know I should click on "Crossroads"above.

I just miss our old chats and things we did, but of course life gets busy and there are so many books to read, groups to be part of, etc.

Yes, I too miss it, but as so many of us are also friends on FB, it takes the sting out, a bit. xx

Yes, I agree. This isn't the only group that hasn't stayed active here--it's hard to do when you move sites.

Sorry to hear this. I have had a fantastic year, along with many that I skip most of the middle, and it doesn't seem to matter!!

Karin Well, I don't read that many 5 star reads, but I have enjoyed a number of the 3 and 4 star reads this year.

Story (storyheart) Karin, I read Tenant of Wildfell Hall last summer and also found it a very rewarding read.

Lesley, Emotionally Weird was great, though Life After Life remains my favourite Atkitson.

Blueberry, I keep hearing great things about Brother. I'll have to add it to my TBR.

My five best of the year so far:

The Museum of Modern Love
Wilding
The Mistress Of Nothing
Gilgamesh
My Life Among the Apes
