I loved Ready Player One. So much. But I realized after listening to the audiobook twice and reading the paperback once, a lot of that love is towards Wil Wheaton who narrates the audiobook. lol. I got rid of my paperback and will only re-listen. :) It has been an annual read for me but I haven't gone back to it this year. Maybe on one of my three road trips coming up.

I also have The Belles and Left Hand of Darkness on my shelves. I still haven't read a LeGuin book. *SMH* And she's totally right up my alley.

Yes, that's one of the reasons I didn't like reading RPO, the font is really small in the paperback!

Stacie (stacieh) | 1945 comments You are rocking this challenge! I really enjoyed Guernsey, and remember it being a very fast read for me; you've probably crossed it off your list by lunchtime, LOL!

I loved Guernsey and the Netflix movie was very good! I listened to the audiobook and also own the paperback. Definitely planning to re-read.

To recap: in July, I read 10 book..."

Excellent! I almost always need to have a plan whether it's weekly or monthly. Even if I veer off-course which happens when Overdrive holds come in! But also helps me focus on books I need to read. I've seen The Princess Bride so many times that when I read it for the first time a few years ago, it was basically the movie in my head and I was reading in the actors' voices. lol. Loved the book though! I have The Power coming up for this year.

Katie, the library holds are constantly distracting me from reading more of what I own!

You can do it! I've added...too many books to my shelves this year. lol. You can totally read one of your new books! But it won't count towards this challenge. Only books purchased before this year! ;) I mean, it's not like there are concrete rules that you need to follow so do what you want. ;)

I can barely go a week without buying a new or new-to-me book! lol. But mostly it's a handful at a time, like at a library sale or something. Or a bagful at a time... but really I'm not spending $10+ per book. More like $1 or less. So that's how I justify it. And the e-books as well plus they take up no space! Right? Right?! HELP!
