Romance novel... I read this book back in 2017 while spending a few days in county jail. I did not get to finish the ending of the book and now don’t remember the title or author. And since it has taken me so long to decide to finish it... I only remember a few plot details. The hero or main male character in the book does not age (but is not a vampire) and lives with his family in large home. I believe it is set in the northeastern part of the US. The main female character I think is a college professor (or maybe he is the professor and she the student) I cannot remember. He brings her home to meet his family and that’s when she finds out his secret about not aging. His son pretends to be his father and first to keep the man’s secret hidden from the heroine, but she later finds out that isn’t the case and he is indeed the son of her new lover. There is a scene in the kitchen of confrontation between the man’s sister and the woman while the men are outside playing in the snow. Also another scene with snow and falling in the ice or something similar...again don’t really remember. I would really love to finish the book and series of it is indeed part of one.
