Amber Rodgers | 3 comments I am a new Indie Author who has 3 books published on multiple platforms and working on 3 more that will all come out by end of 2020. But what I am currently looking for is someone to go back over my 3 previous books and review the material. Unfortunately I had hired a lady who did all my editing, however I have gained some negative feedback on her editing. I was hoping to find someone that could help me out without breaking the bank or even proof read my work for review for their website.

If you happen to be this person, PLEASE contact me on here or send me an email at authorarodgers@gmail.com.

Thank you and have a great day!
Amber

White Diamond Editing (wwwgoodreadscomwhitediamondedits) | 25 comments Hi Amber,

If you've had negative reviews on previous editing then I would suggest that your books need another edit rather than proofreading at this stage. Proofreading is the very last stage of the publishing process and picks up last minute issues such as typos, missed punctuation, etc. It can't fix incorrect or poor editing.

Is there anything in particular the reviews have picked up on? Is it mainly spelling or deeper issues with the story itself.

Unfortunately, after ten years in the editing field, I've seen far too many cases such as this which is a shame.

I'd be happy to discuss this further with you. Unfortunately as this is my livelihood I can't offer to do either editing or proofreading for free, but I'm willing to discuss your budget with you to work something out should you be interested in working together.

Please feel free to contact me either via Goodreads of my direct email whitediamondedits(at)gmail.com

Best wishes
Jacqui

Kai (kaipotter) | 10 comments Hi there,
I offer beta reading services on my Fiverr for an affordable rate. I am always honest, I give professional feedback and I always give advice on how to improve your manuscript!
I always track all changes and give feedback on plot, character development, writing style, dialogue, pacing, coherence, minor grammar issues and more. If there's anything in particular that you need me to focus on, that is always welcome!
I mostly do these genres but not limited to: Contemporary fiction, Scifi, fantasy, LGBTQ+, poetry, YA, Children's lit, Romance, Historical Fiction.

Contact me if you have any questions :) I have only recently opened an account of Fiverr so my prices are very low at the moment!:
