Discussion for Part Three: The Skeleton

The entire book can be discussed in this thread.

Misty's Book Space (mistysbookspace) I finished! While I had some issues with it I ultimately ended up liking it and definitely want to continue on with it if there's going to be more books which I am assuming there will be with the way this one ended. The biggest issue I had was keeping up with who was who and also when the perspectives change. The author was switching between different perspectives in the same chapter an if you don't closely pay attention you will miss it and it will take you a few minutes to catch on to it,

All done! I ended up giving this 3 stars, I really wanted to like it more :(

The potential for world building was there in spades, but I found the execution lacking. However, with this being a debut novel I still thought it was pretty good.

Like I said before I was NOT a fan of the writing style. When we would switch perspectives sometimes the person we had switched to was not mentioned by name until an entire page later which I found very confusing. Yes, you could figure it out through context clues, but I found that completely took me out of the reading experience until I figured it out.

I can completely see this series developing beautifully, especially with the friendship dynamics set up in this book. I'm very interested to see how the author's writing develops as this series continues. I really enjoyed the concept and want to see more from the world.
