Men land on planet but women are the dominant power - has the quote in it 'women are born to lead, men must learn to obey'. Don't remember the ending but it was basically planet of the apes with women in charge instead of apes. Role reversal on our male dominated society. Read in school library in late 90's and our school library was outdated so could have been much older and may not have been aimed specifically at young adults. Very feminist.
