READERS::: We are finishing up this book TOMORROW! Are you enjoying it? What do you predict will happen in the end? If you've already finished it, were you surprised by the ending?

If there were a sequel, what would you expect to happen in that story?

I'm enjoying this fun, fast-paced book! Also, all the animal love is just beautiful!

Lily H. | 2 comments Question:
Ms. Preus said we were reading chapters 8 - 13 on June 11. She did not write a due date or anything like that. Their are 20 chapters in the book and we have not been assigned more chapters to read since then. Was this a mistake or did I miss something???

Lily,
Good question! If you check out my post from Sunday, you’ll see I said that we are finishing up the book! So, read on, chica!

Reese H | 7 comments I predict that Natalie's dad is going to let her keep Lars. I also predict that Banger is going to find his family, but they will stay near the island to see Natalie and Lars.

If there was a sequel, maybe Natalie would be a lot older and have her own child who will have animal adventures of their own.

Ms. Preus | 12 comments Hi readers,

I am so excited that you have enjoyed reading this book. I am sorry I was not extremely specific for due dates on a recent post. Thank you for letting us know, Lily!

It has been so fun to hear your thoughts! Reese, I love your idea for a sequel! I think it would be interesting if Bangor was still involved. Possibly, his own little family would reunite with Natalie and hers!!
