Read this book about 8 years ago. May have been ya. I think the boy going missing from nevada. Parents try to find him.
There is also a story about a stripper with maybe a drug dealer for a boyfriend, and her inner monologue talks about having a yeast infection. Somehow the two stories converge.

Sounds like Beautiful Children by Charles Bock. There's more than two interconnected stories / characters, but the main plot is about a missing boy and another is a stripper, Cheri. I searched the Google Books preview (https://www.google.co.uk/books/editio...) for 'yeast' and found this snippet from Cheri's storyline:
