SOLVED. Science Fiction Gun Fighting Special Gloves. Read in late 1980s/early 1990s. [s]

I read this book probably back in the late 80's early 90's. It was basically about a teen/young adult that lands on a planet. They solve problems by gun fighting and he goes to a store to buy an outfit and finds these special gloves that turn him into one of the best.

I found what I was looking for, it was a 3 book series by Allen L Wold. Jewels of the dragon was the first.
