ABANDONED. YA Book about siblings with a bird species as a last name

I don't know much about this book but here was what I do remember.

This book follows a set of siblings with a species of bird as their last name
At one point they had a different type of bird as their last name. (I think they were in witness protection or something)
One of the siblings is stuck in a trunk and has to figure out how to fire a bullet without a gun but with an iron.
The same sibling clogs a toilet in order to send a message to the other sibling.
The father is an author who has a popular book series about a spy.
