Hey all! It's almost summer, so here is a summer themed story challenge. It will start out with a book. I'm going to use the book Turtle in Paradise by Jennifer L. Holm. When you read a book, you get to create a sentence for our summer themed story. Your sentence should reflect the book. If you read a book about a dog, then your sentence could have a dog in it, or any other detail to the story. For example,

Person 1: One day, a girl went to the beach.
Turtle in Paradise by Jennifer L. Holm
Person 2. At the beach, the girl met a cat.
The Portal by Kathryn Lasky
And so on... To start....

One day, a girl went to the beach.
