You can check yourself by trying to apply again. If you can't, your application is still pending. If you can, your previous application was rejected.
One week is a very short time though. Applications used to take about two weeks to be handled, but lately months seems to be more likely.

Hopefully the (sometimes) months long application process can be shortened now when the quiz scores do the first step of filtering the applicants.

FYI before there was a questionnaire, applicants would only receive an answer if they were approved.

Which is still the case. As I mentioned in the announcement, the new quiz supplements the previous process, rather than replacing it.
