Is this the best Ali Smith to start with? Tried to read The Accidental a while ago and stalled.

I want to like Ali Smith but I have struggled with the Seasons so far. I enjoyed the contemporary part of How To Be Both but I don’t think I would have persevered if I had a copy which started with the historical half. I would appreciate a recommendation too.

I have had the exact opposite experience. I love the seasonals but could not get into this one. I think buddy reading it with someone or many someones :) will be helpful.
