Hi guys! I am a bookworm just like everybody here and I am currently writing my dissertation for Book Publishing Studies. I have created a survey that will help accumulate some data that will be extremely helpful for my research. It will only take a minute or a couple at the most to complete the survey. Done! But I skipped one question, about reading a book because the book/author is what everyone's talking about. To be honest, that never influences me or attracts me to a book or author. The subject matter alone is my biggest influencer. Good luck with your work.

Hi I answered but didn't like the option for the new book/author to read on Instagram
I love reading new non mainstream authors- taking a chance on new things can lead to finding new authors to followin the future.
Granted I do read mainstream/new york times authors as well

Done, but I will tell ya I just buy my books and then read them years later so my books are hardly current or in vogue most of the times. For example I have both "The Hate you Give" and it's sequel "On the Come Up" But haven't read any yet but will do so soon enough :P
