Discussion: A Closed and Common Orbit

Our June book is the novel A Closed and Common Orbit by Becky Chambers. This is the 2nd book in a series but the blurb and people who have read it say it is stand alone.

I read the first book (despite the 2nd one being "stand alone") last week and now I am about 40% of the way through a Closed and Common Orbit. A Closed and Common Orbit definitely seems to be going faster than A Long Way to a Small Angry Planet. Maybe it is because it mainly focuses on the perspectives of 2 characters where as "A Long Way..." seemed to bounce between more characters.

I also decided to read book one before starting book two. I'm about 60% through "A Long Way" but I have high hopes (Delusions?) that I'll finish both for Sunday
