Laura Lee | 9 comments I am wondering if there is a way to circumvent this problem. I have been trying to add a quote by Justice Thurgood Marshall to my quotes. Whenever I put it in, the system decides has found that quote already and puts in a quote of the quote "Thurgood Marshall said in such and such case..." and then the quote that someone put in from another book: “Thurgood Marshall wrote in his opinion for Procunier v. Martinez (1974), “When the prison gates slam behind an inmate, he does not lose his human quality; his mind does not become closed to ideas; his intellect does not cease to feed on a free and open interchange of opinions; his yearning for self-respect does not end; nor is his quest for self-realization concluded.” This is frustrating. I don't want the quote of the quote in my list but the original quote and it will not let me put it in in that form. Is there any way around this?

I agree: we should have the quote, not a quote of the quote. https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/8703...
