Data Conversion Laboratory and Bowker just put out summary results from a 2014 survey of trends in digital publishing.

- Respondents were 60% authors at 25% publishers

- Non-fiction outnumbers fiction in the future

I remember this survey. I answered the questions for it. I thought the results were quite revealing as far as self-publishing goes.
