I look forward to seeing what work folks would like to start off with for the summer. Until then, Cheers!

Hi Charles,
Yeah, I think the first book is going to be a critical one for our success. I hope we choose one of Fritz's very best and most accessible.
Do you like the mast I put up? It's a portion of a book cover from an obscure edition of Conjure Wife.
Is that where that is from? Well then, I'm in. It certainly grabs a person's attention, and I think Leiber would approve.

I couldn't find the Twilight Zone cover.
Charles, I like and try to change images out every month. It's not only because it's refreshing to see something new, not to mention fun, but it's a subtle cue to members the group is still active. I really like that Scrolls emblem you have going too.
Gives new meaning to the phrase, "talk to the hand."
I've posted about the book selection over at the Scrolls of Lankhmar Facebook page. Hopefully, some folks over there might come over here to join in.
Hey Dan,
Have you sent out a group message to all of the past members? If not, I was going to send one out updating them with the new activity.
Thanks,
Charles

I did. I sent the same message you got from me last night to all the members. They all started three or more years ago. We may have very few active members, maybe as few as you, me, Scott and Randolph right now. I'm going to send an invite out to all my friends, but I think only a few are fans enough of Leiber to join.
Over time, I imagine we'll pick up a member or two per month. We may peak at 100 or 150, of which only 10-15 will be posters and poll voters. I think that's okay. We can still have a good discussion of Leiber's works with so few members. Jim's Zelazny and R. E. Howard groups worked out well that way while they were active. Besides, who knows? I could be wrong and more people will see us having fun here reading good literature and join up than I think will.

Yes, things are going swimmingly!

I've added a Goodreads icon to the top of my Scrolls of Lankhmar site to direct traffic over here. Plus, I have just made a quick blog post about it on the site as well.

Thanks! There is, actually, a lot of material on the site already. However, the amount of material to cover is so vast that there is still a lot of placeholders and empty real-estate. I am not the world's most productive writer, but I am getting better. :) So I do encourage folks who are interested to contribute to the Fritz Leiber WIKI.

The main help I could use right now on the site is story synopsis contributions for any and all of his stories.
Thanks,
Charles

There does seem to be a fair bit of interest in knowing the published order of the F&GM stories, so I probably should include a published order version as well.
