That's it! You finished! Which character's storyline did you like best? What are your final impressions? What star rating will you give this one? Was it the same, better, or worse than the hype and your expectations?

Nessie | 13 comments I loved this book that being said its still so hard to read. The pain and suffering that went on during these wars is horrible. I'm giving it a 5 star and it'll be in my top 10 this year. Hope everyone enjoys it as much as I did.

Mel I didn't hear any hype about this book; apparently I live in a cave. I gave it four stars. I didn't care for the sex and all the cussing. Once the timelines/stories merged it flowed better for me and I'm so glad the ending wasn't sappy, but funny. I literally laughed out loud.
My favorite character would be Eve, because she had growth and managed to live.
No one should give anyone that much power over their lives and to think she wasted so many years is heart wrenching.

Jeanette I liked this book from the first page and it held my attention until the end. I loved learning everyone’s background. Eves life was very complex. She was such a strong person when she joined the network, very determined. Charlie grew up while looking for her cousin. To stand up to her mother was a big step for her. Throughout the current time they helped each other heal. It was very satisfying to learn Eve hadn’t betrayed her friends and I thought the killing of Charlie and Eves mutual enemy cemented their friendship. I laughed and cried while reading this book. I gave it 5 stars and highly recommend everyone read it.

Challice (challicen) | 4 comments After dealing with earthquakes and all the aftermath, I finally finished this.

Which character's storyline did you like best?
For sure Eve's. It was interesting to see the character development. One of the best scenes I think is where she is talking to Lili about enjoying the pleasures with Rene' without liking him and I think that is prevalent issue for today that should be talked about more.

What are your final impressions?
Unfortunately, I think I'm still a prude and the constant sex was just too much for me. I was ready for the book to be done about half-way through but wanted the answers both characters were seeking.

What star rating will you give this one? Was it the same, better, or worse than the hype and your expectations?

I gave it 2. I finished it which means its a step up from 1 star. But I can't recommend this in good conscience. I think its even more disappointing for me because this is the first Reese's book club book that I disliked. I enjoyed the Nightengale and Lilac Girls but this one I was pretty bummed about. I am pretty sure I'm the only one but I'm ok with that.
